Spring Wild Turkey
Permit Area 508: All hunts require $150 deposit 50% refundable for lottery season reservations when hunter does not obtain a lottery license or option to change to later reservation. Minimum of 2 hunters and a maximum of 4 hunters per reservation. For groups of 4 hunters, $50 discount per adult. Youth 17 and under are half price with an adult reservation.
Hunt turkeys on over 1100 acres with on site lodging in the Guest House. All birds filleted and packaged ready for freezer, fan and beard prepped for mounting at hunter’s request.
Three or five day hunts start at $550 per hunter.
Black Bear
No Quota Area (157): We have a limited number of bear hunts available each year. Bait stations are spread over a 10 mile radius. We are in the No Quota Area so you can purchase your bear license over the counter. We take reservations for the first two weeks of bear season which opens September 1.
- $200 reservation fee per adult, 50% refunded if no active baits
- 2 to 4 hunters per reservation for 3 or 5 day hunt over active bait with lodging included
- For groups of 4 hunters – $100 discount per adult
- Youth 17 and under half price with paying adult
- Packages start at $900.
Deer Bow Hunting
Permit Area 157: We have 420 acres of private land and 360 acres of state land across the road from our farm open to early season bow hunting. Hunts will be semi-guided, we will help you set up your portable stands at pre-scouted locations.
Each hunter should bring a couple of portable stands to set up for different wind direction.
Muzzle Loader
We have 1100 acres of private land and 360 more acres of state land adjacent to our farm to provide lots of room to roam. Hunts will be semi-guided with use of enclosed stands (heaters included), many on food plots. We have some ladder stands we can help you set up if you want to try a certain spot or you may bring your own portable stand with you to use on the state land.
Muzzle loader hunting dates change from year to year. There are no rifle hunts available at Gobbler Grove.
Grouse and Pheasant
Gobbler Grove grounds are open during grouse and pheasant seasons to self-guided hunters with guest house accommodations. No reservations will be available between the 20th of October and Thanksgiving weekend.
We offer late season grouse and pheasant combo packages after Thanksgiving until close of season, January 1.
Guest House
Guest House sleeps four with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, full kitchen, and a deck with gas grill.
Regulations
All hunting is for wild game and subject to all Minnesota Department of Natural Resource regulations, http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/hunting/index.html.
Other Activities
Pheasant Ridge Shooting Preserve, http://www.pheasantridgemn.com/, is open September 1 thru May 1 for half day hunts of pheasant and chuckars. It is a quick 25 minute drive away.
Bring your own fishing boat. There are several lakes in the area with good pan fish numbers.
Grand Casino Hinckley is 15 miles away for other entertainment.
